Kokoy
A dessert brand built around the pour
Founded in Kuwait, Kokoy makes crunchy chocolate desserts with a choice of creams. Customers choose their dessert and cream, then pour the cream on top themselves.
We built the brand around a simple idea: Kokoy is not finished until the customer takes part. Choosing a pairing makes it personal; the pour builds anticipation before the first bite.
The verbal identity turns Kokoy’s product and ritual into playful invitations to choose, pour and share. Build Your Kokoy invites customers to create their own pairing, while Made to Pour names the signature action that completes it. Crunchy Creamy Kokoy uses rhythm and alliteration to express the contrast between crisp dessert and flowing cream. Every Kiki Needs a Kokoy carries that playful sound into social occasions, extending the invitation from making your own Kokoy to enjoying it together.
The visual identity brings the contrast between crunch and cream to life. We designed the wordmark’s soft, swollen serifs to feel coated in cream, offset by bold typography and structured layouts. English and Arabic wordmarks reflect Kokoy’s Kuwaiti origin. Tactile packaging presents each dessert and cream as a considered pairing and guides customers from opening to pouring.
At Kokoy, the ritual is as much a part of the experience as the dessert itself.
