Gaidly
The city, off-script
Most travel platforms point you toward the same popular restaurants and attractions. Gaidly takes a more personal approach. Tell it where you’re going and what you love, and it uses recommendations from locals to plan and book a trip tailored to you.
Our task was to turn Gaidly’s product difference into a clear brand position. We saw its value in helping travelers discover a city’s culture through recommendations from the people who help shape it. That insight became the guiding idea for the brand. Go where culture happens.
We made the person behind every pick central to the experience. Each recommendation includes their name, role, neighborhood and reason for choosing the place. We expressed that connection through a face inside a location pin, linking where to go with the person recommending it. Across the system, the mark serves as a picker, a map pin and a “Good Pick” endorsement.
Hot pink suggests the unexpected, while heavy typography gives each recommendation a direct, confident voice. Together, the identity and product make exploring with Gaidly feel like being shown around by a local who knows where the city’s culture happens.
